openclaw-agent is a personal AI automation agent that runs locally on the user’s own computer. It allows users to control files, browsers, and various services using natural language commands.

Purpose of this Application

The main purpose of openclaw-agent is to help individual users automate repetitive digital tasks. One of the key features is integrating with YouTube so that users can manage their own YouTube content more efficiently.

Why Google API Access is Needed

openclaw-agent requests limited access to Google APIs (specifically the YouTube Data API) only when the user explicitly enables the related features. This access is used for the following purposes:

• Updating video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails
• Managing video privacy status and playlists
• Uploading or scheduling videos to the user’s own YouTube channel
• Retrieving channel and video information needed for content management

Access is granted only after the user completes Google’s official OAuth consent process. The application requests the minimum scopes required for the features the user chooses to use.

Data Handling

• All processing is performed locally on the user’s device.
• Google user data is not sent to or stored on any external servers controlled by the developer by default.
• Data is used solely to carry out the actions requested by the user.
• Users can revoke access at any time from their Google Account settings.
